Good things don't happen to Cleo Moss. So when the perfect filming location for her next horror movie falls into her lap, it feels too good to be true. These sorts of opportunities don't happen for amateur teen horror fans. Burying her doubts, she tries to ignore it when things start to go wrong — when a snowstorm falls on Munising like an avenging army, when her director casts her ex-crush as a prank, and when sinister scares keep happening even when the camera stops rolling. But as the violent spirits haunting her perfect location start to escalate, ignoring them stops being an option.

 

Especially once snow piled up against the door cuts off her and her friends' only means of escape.
